Virtually unknown a few years ago, this ingredient has recently been the subject of various scientific studies which have shown the many medicinal virtues of psyllium (regulation on the intestines and digestion in general, diabetes and blood sugar levels, cholesterol ... ) but it is also widely used in gluten free cooking to thicken and bind.
Directions for use: you can add a tablespoon of psyllium in 20cl of preferable hot liquid, wait a few minutes, stir again and drink or incorporate into your cooking. It is also possible to add the psyllium directly into yoghurts, smoothies etc. Do not exceed 3 to 6g per day.
