Highly-effective and gentle at the same time, they are a natural, non polluting, compostable alternative to conventional laundry detergents. They are perfectly suitable for sensitive skins and allergy and eczema sufferers. It will leave your laundry fresh and clean and compared to other powder detergents, its mildness will keep colours bright, maintaining fabric structure of your clothes for longer periods. It can be used on all fabrics and at all temperatures from 30° C to 90° C. Great for all washing machines especially energy efficient machines & great for all allergy sufferers.
Inside the bag there will be a mixed of whole and broken shells. This does not affect the efficacy of the soapnuts. There also may be variation of colours due to the time the soapnuts were harvested, which doesn't affect their efficacy either. They are also packaged in a completely zero-waste tube, so it simply doesn't get greener than this!!!
A small muslin bag is provided and can be used for 5 shells (reuseable for up to 4 times) and placed directly in your washing-machine. You will use a minimum of 75 washes with this method. The enclosed leaflet for a homemade soapnut liquid recipe will allow 108 washed per tube.
