Delicious crispy flakes with sweet & sour fruity notes typical of Japanese ume plum and shiso. A subtle delicacy perfect to sprinkle in salads, to accompany vegan meats, or on top of ice cream, on muffins or homemade chocolates.
Umbeboshi plums are macerated in plum vinegar with shiso, pitted and then freeze-dried. They are then crushed into small petals of 2 to 5.5 mm.
