A vegan revolution coming tous us from Galicia, Spain: their calabizo is the first vegan chorizo made from pumpkin! An explosion of Mediterranean flavours and an authentic texture. Based on a traditional recipe of pumpkin chorizo from Galicia, calabizo is made with vegan ingredients, traditionally oak-smoked and cured for several weeks. Enjoy this spicy version as a snack, added to pasta, perfect for paellas, on the BBQ, in quiches, with potatoes, tofu "nomelets". Let your imagination run wild. No additives.
Does not require refrigeration before opening. (Once opened, please refrigerate).
Important: before eating, remove the vegetable cellulose casing in which each calabizo is wrapped (not edible).
Open 10 minutes before eating.
Ingredients: Pumpkin (90%), onion, extra virgin olive oil, paprika, salt, garlic and oregano.
